Dhanbad : 53 coaches of a coal-laden goods train derailed at Gurupa station on the Gaya-Koderma railway line in Dhanbad. Even after so many coaches derailed, the engine took one of the coaches and went at lightning speed. The people present at the station who ran away in fear.

The accident took place at 6.24am on Wednesday. A goods train of The East Central Railway (ECR) met with an accident. The accident took place between Kordema and Manpur railway stations in Dhanbad division, the ECR said. Train services have been disrupted following the accident. The rooms of many trains have been changed and some have been cancelled.
