Dhenkanal: A youth was brutally attacked near Kukudjhar in Kaimati panchayat under the Sadar police station limits. He has been admitted to Dhenkanal headquarters hospital in a critical condition. He is said to have sustained severe injuries to his head and hands. The young man who was seriously hurt has been named as Suryakant Khilar from the village of Ghamkhunti in Kaimati panchayat, which is under the Sadar police station. Suryakant’s grandfather had played a key role in the last panchayat elections when he contested as sarpanch.
