Archana-Jagabandhu Vetaveeti. The husband and wife met in Jharpada jail in Bhubaneswar. This is the second time I’ve met inside the jail. Both of them spoke for 15 minutes in the presence of the assistant jailor and other security personnel.

The two met each other last Sunday. Both are in jail in connection with a case of blackmailing eminent people.

There is a rule in the jail manual that both husband and wife should meet each other once a week if they are in jail. Archana Nag was arrested on October 7 on charges of blackmail. Later, on October 21, Archana’s husband Jagabandhu was arrested from his Satya Vihar house. His associate Khageshwar is now under the police scanner. Their mobile phones, laptops, pen drives and hard disks have been seized.
