Ed summons Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in connection with money laundering case He has been asked to appear before it on Thursday. It is learnt that the ED will be interrogating him during this period in connection with the mining scam case.

Earlier, Hemant Soren’s aide Pankaj Mishra was arrested in connection with the mining scam. The ED had also carried out searches at 18 locations linked to Pankaj Mishra and the establishments of his business associates on July 8. Pankaj Mishra is accused of amassing huge wealth illegally. He is said to have amassed assets worth around Rs 42 crore so far. Mishra and others were booked by the ED in March after registering a case under the PMLA.
