President Draupadi Murmu to visit Odisha

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is visiting Odisha for the first time after assuming office. He will arrive in Bhubaneswar on December 10. He is scheduled to stay at Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar on the same day.

After this, on The 11th, he will go to Puri and have darshan of Jagannath.

He is scheduled to return to New Delhi after the darshan. This information has been given to The Raj Bhavan of Odisha from Rashtrapati Bhavan. This is his first visit to Odisha after he took over as the President.

During his two-day visit, he is scheduled to visit Srijiu only in Puri. There seems to be no other event other than this. Draupadi Murmu took over as President of India on July 25. On that count, it has been 100 days since he became president.

He has so far visited 5 states and one foreign country after assuming charge. The states that have visited are Gujarat, Chandigarh, Tripura, Assam and Uttar Pradesh. During his visit to Gujarat, the President was in the news for the salt issue.

In all the major events that took place during his 100 days of work, he attended the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain on behalf of India. He administered the oath of office and secrecy to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Chief Justice of India U U Lalit.

Similarly, 8 IIT directors of the country, including Bhubaneswar, have been appointed during this 100 days. It also appointed 65 high court judges. He recently addressed the heads of the UN Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee at rashtrapati bhavan.
