He has announced his first Marathi film. Akshay Kumar is all set to make his Marathi debut with director Mahesh Manjrekar’s ‘Bedat Marathe Veer Daulat Saat’. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the historical role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film. An event for the film was held recently. in which Salman Khan was also seen.

Talking to the media about his Marathi debut and his character, Akshay said, “For me, it’s like a dream come true. Portraying and playing the character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the big screen is a great thing. ‘Bedat Marathe Veer Daulat Saat’ will not only showcase the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but also seven Marathi heroes. According to media reports, the film may be released on Diwali 2023, but no official announcement has been made yet.
