Athgarh : Mahakartikar Pahili Panchak. Baba Dhabaleshwar is seen in the garb of Chandrachud. Since the month of Kartik is the month of dharma, it is believed that by visiting Dev Dev Mahadev, one gets the fullness of crores of births and peace of mind.

But this year, there will be no direct darshan of Baba Dhabaleshwar in the first panchak and bada osha of Kartik. Cuttack District Collector orders darshan of Dhabaleshwar in LEDs. The administration has decided to have darshan of Baba Dhabaleshwar on LED screens near the main road temple gate. However, Section 144 will remain in force in Jhulapole and Temple Bedha.

Thousands of devotees gather at Kartik Badaosha to have a darshan of the famous Baba Dhabaleshwar of Athgarh. However, this year, devotees will have darshan of Thakur not directly but in virtual mode. The decision was taken at a meeting of the pujak samiti with the district administration. On the other hand, the Pujak Samiti opened the Baba’s pahad from 3 a.m. and bathed the Baba in 108 urns of fragrant water and completed all the rituals.
