Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter has created a lot of buzz around twitter. The layoffs from the company will start from Friday i.e. today. There is confusion among the employees about this. Employees are doubtful whether Soman has a job on Twitter or they will have to look for a new job from Monday.

The social media company has informed its employees through an email that they will inform them at 9.30 pm Indian time on Friday whether they have a job or have been fired. According to a reuters report, the mail states that the arduous process of reducing the workforce to improve Twitter will begin on Friday. The term of those who will be excluded will be temporarily suspended. All badge access will be blocked to ensure the security of every employee as well as the Twitter system and customer data. In addition, the mail said that the employees who will be laid off will be informed about the upcoming process in their personal emails.

On the other hand, some Twitter users have complained that they are not opening their accounts today. Early in the morning, they are unable to use Twitter. Screenshots of the same have also been shared by some users.
