Ashley Toy, professor at the University of Bristol and director of NIHR Blood and Transplant, said, “This trial is a big step towards converting stem cells into blood cells. He said that this is the first time that blood made in the lab has been given to a human being. He is excited about the outcome. Scientists said that patients in whom blood was blood transfusions were performed. They are being taken special care of. Both are perfectly fine. 10 people will be given blood transfusions twice in four months for clinical tests. If this experiment is successful, it will be a big achievement for medical science.
