Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra to be installed in the city of London

Sri Vigraha Foundation Day of Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu, Shri Balabhadra Mahaprabhu and Goddess Subhadra will be celebrated in the premises of Shri Ram Temple in The South Hall of London city. On November 5, they have invited The Revered Raseshwari Devi as a special guest for the grand ceremony of Lord Jagannath, Shri Balabhadra Mahaprabhu and Devi Subhadra. The event has been organised by members of the Sri Jagannath Society formed by the Odia Samaj living in London. In the program, Along with Vigraha Archana, Aarti, Homa, Pujya Devi Ji is scheduled to deliver a discourse on “World Brotherhood and Jagannath Culture”. Raseshwari Devi will highlight the Jagannath culture and its usefulness in today’s global situation. For all castes, all religions, the jagannath culture teaches the world brotherhood. According to today’s world situation, there is a need to discuss the importance of this culture in particular.

It is to be noted that Pujya Raseshwari Devi is the joint founder of Braj Gopika Seva Mission. Located at Tangi in Khurda district, the mission has been spreading Sanatan Vedic religion in the country and abroad for the last 24 years since 1999 and has been undertaking various activities for the all-round development of various sections of the people at the state level. After the completion of this vigraha installation ceremony, The Goddess is scheduled to attend a series of activities in various cities of England.

It is at this place that the members of the society have resolved to build a grand temple in the future. In August last year, the Prime Minister of England had met Sri Rishi Sunak and gifted him pattachitras of Sri Jagannath, Sri Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. Now that Sri Rishi Sunak has become the Prime Minister, the possibility of setting up a temple among the Odia society there has doubled.
