Anandapur: Gambling dens were playing chickens at the weekly haat. The police conducted a surprise raid and arrested five people and seized cash and a car. Gambling was going on in the weekly haat of Sapuasahi under Ramchandrapur police station of Anandapur subdivision.

Since it was illegal, there were repeated complaints against these gamblers at the police station. On the basis of the complaint, the police raided the poultry game at Sapuasahi and arrested five people involved in it. The police have also seized rs 22,000 and a xylo vehicle used in the game
