The STF has arrested three people from near Kuchinda Kolabira Malidhi Chowk in Sambalpur district. Besides, tiger barks have also been recovered from their possession.

Sumit Patel of Jogidih village in Jharsuguda, Kapa Sahu of Sudupada in Balangir, and Aditya Patra of Palasamal in Sambalpur had brought the tiger bark for trade. They have been arrested by the STF in a tactful manner. A case under sections 379, 411, 413, and 120B has been registered against them and produced before the Jharsuguda SDJM court. So from which forest did they hunt tigers, and how did they extract tiger bark? That is expected to be clear only after the investigation.
