New Delhi: The pinnacle of the Edneer Mutt in Kasargod Swami Kesavananda Bharati handed away on the age of 79 on Sunday. He was a patron of schooling, tradition and humanities.
He was the petitioner in Supreme Courtroom`s famous judgement that parliament can’t alter the essential construction of the Structure. He had challenged the Kerala authorities`s transfer to take over mutt property.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief on the demise saying that the seer shall be remembered for his contributions in direction of neighborhood service and empowering the downtrodden.
Taking to Twitter PM Mpdi wrote: “We’ll at all times bear in mind Pujya Kesavananda Bharati Ji for his contributions in direction of neighborhood service and empowering the downtrodden. He was deeply connected to India`s wealthy tradition and our nice Structure. He’ll proceed to encourage generations. Om Shanti.”

Whereas Union Minister Amit Shah known as it an irreplacable loss for the nation. He wrote: “Passing away of an excellent thinker and revered seer, Swami Kesavananda Bharathi ji is an irreplaceable loss for the nation. He’ll at all times be remembered as an icon of Indian tradition for his wealthy contribution to safeguard our custom and ethos. My condolences together with his followers.”

The seer was the top of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Samsthanam Edneer Mutt. The mutt is called a seat of artwork and Vedic studying that belongs to the Sankaracharya custom.
