The Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort shall be reopened for guests from September 21, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) Agra circle introduced on Monday. The 2 world heritage monuments had been closed since March 17 because of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
The Agra District Justice of the Peace on August 20 had determined to reopen all of the historic monuments besides the Taj Mahal and Pink Fort (Lal Quila) from September 1, after reviewing its earlier order.
The order to this impact was issued from the District Justice of the Peace workplace stating that these historic monuments, which had been stored within the buffer zone, shall be re-opened for the general public as per their earlier schedule.
Whereas visiting these locations, vacationers and customary folks have been suggested to observe social distancing and put on masks.
