New Delhi: The Indian team will travel to New Zealand after the conclusion of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. India’s selection committee has appointed Hardik Pandya as the new captain of Team India for the T20 series against New Zealand. The team’s regular captains, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have been rested. On the other hand, team opener KL Rahul will not be a part of the team on this tour.
The Indian team will start the series against New Zealand on November 18 with the first T20 match. The first match will be played in Wellington. Team India will play T20 matches on November 18, 20 and 22. After this, the ODIs will be played on November 25, 27 and 30.
