Work on laying pipes is underway in Vyasnagar town to supply gas through pipelines. However, due to the arbitrariness of the contractor who is doing this work, the lives of the people are in danger while the people are facing problems. The work has been going on for more than two years and the main road is getting damaged. The big potholes being dug on the road are not being dug properly. As a result, people are facing accidents and other problems on a daily basis. Apart from this, water pipes, phone lines, and internet cables are also being damaged due to the digging of roads. There has been a lot of resentment among the people of the city. There is a public demand that the administration immediately look into it and take appropriate steps.

Work is underway to supply gas through pipelines to households in the Vyasanagar urban area of Jajpur district. But because Bharat Gas Resources Limited, the company hired by GAIL (GAIL is the Gas Authority of India Limited) to do this work, does not follow the rules, people are in danger.
