However, a statement has now come out regarding this incident.

In a statement, a company spokesman said, “This was due to a technical error of the company. Which has now been resolved. WhatsApp parent company Meta did not provide further details on the matter. So the exact cause of the problem is not clear.

A similar problem was witnessed in October last year. In which about crores of users of the company had to face problems. At that time, the company had pointed it out that there was a problem with DNS. The same seems to be the case with yesterday’s trouble. However, the company has not given any further information about this.

WhatsApp was deactivated from around 12:30 pm to 2.30 pm on Tuesday. During this time, users had difficulty in using WhatsApp. Users had difficulty sending and receiving messages, as well as any kind of media files. Users could not even make WhatsApp calls and video calls.
